OUR PROGRAMMES

Basic Supplies

The most vulnerables families have no way to cover their basic needs. That’s why we are advocating to collect and send basic supplies which are distributed in Venezuela by our local NGOs partners and volunteers on the ground to the communities they support.

If you wish to collaborate with in-kind donations, please get in touch.

Una Luz para Venezuela

Since 2009, Venezuela has experienced an electricity crisis that continues today, leaving the country without electricity for long periods of time, thus affecting the quality of life of many families.

Through LuminAid, we aim to partner with diverse communities to offer a sustainable and reliable solution.

We work collaboratively with the NGO Meals4Hope in rural communities of extreme poverty trying to cover one of the basic needs, lighting.

LuminAid lamps can be easily recharged with sunlight providing up to 10 hours of illumination, and although we do not solve the underlying problem, this alternative can make a big difference in times of need for a Venezuelan community.

This is an ongoing project with the aim to help communities that are currently facing electricity problems. The goal is to reach as many communities as we can.

Fundación Angel Gabriel

One of the organizations we proudly support is Fundación Ángel Gabriel, based in the city of Cumaná. This foundation comprises a team of doctors specializing in fields like pediatrics and nutrition, along with dedicated community volunteers who come together to assist in achieving their mission.

The team has identified a severe crisis in the El Peñón community, where 50 children are suffering from malnutrition. Care Venezuela is committed to providing support to address this urgent need. Thanks to your generosity, the community can benefit from medical assistance days and food, helping to aid the recovery of malnourished children in El Peñón, Cumaná, Venezuela.

We need your support to develop the community kitchen project.

Casa Hogar Pedro Ernesto Jimenez

In Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Casa Hogar Pedro Ernesto Jimenez offers companionship and care to elderly people who have lost family members as well as access to public and private healthcare due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

This facility is home to 25 abandoned seniors who urgently need assistance, as they lack basic daily care supplies, essential medicines, and adequate food. Additionally, the care home extends its help to the community by feeding 50 children who come seeking food at their door.

These elderly residents and children deserve dignity and respect. With your support, we can continue to provide crucial aid through the purchase of food and medicines for this care home.

Coromoto 2020

As part of our commitment to working alongside trusted local organisations, Care Venezuela is proud to partner with Coromoto 2020, a Venezuelan non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across the country.

Coromoto 2020 delivers programmes that provide food assistance, support community kitchens, promote education, and strengthen families through community development initiatives. Guided by a strong network of volunteers and local partners, the organisation works to create sustainable opportunities and restore hope to those facing hardship.

By joining forces, Care Venezuela and Coromoto 2020 are expanding our collective impact, ensuring that humanitarian aid and long-term development reach the communities that need them most.
